As Nelson Mandela encouraged, “Remember to celebrate milestones as you prepare for the road ahead”, we will be celebrating milestones and encouraging each other to continue on the path of making mindfulness | compassion accessible to all who could benefit from it for positive mental health.
Initiated by the colleagues from Ireland, MTAI – the eamba Association Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland, this meeting will be a forum to dialogue on the progress of recognition of MBI’s the teachers connected in eamba Associations.
You are kindly invited to bring to the table the experience of your association and of your teachers.
The organisers ensure that we will hear from associations in the process of requesting recognition and the challenges they face.
We will hear from associations that have already gained recognition and will share their learnings.
We will explore the fundamental question of how to make MBIs accessible to those who might benefit from it within our national contexts, and how to make the case to national stakeholders and policy makers for the recognition (and possible funding) of MBIs as an effective and evidence-based intervention for positive mental health.

Join this timely dialogue and share regardless of the phase in which you are currently acting.
