On February 17th, 2025 eamba gratefully acknowledged the colleagues of IMISA Institute of Mindfulness South Africa for having shared their experience in teaching mindfulness in South Africa.
A RECORDING of this gathering is available to you following this link to the eamba YouTube channel.

The colleagues also shared this video of the Anthem Project | Ndlovu Youth Choir – a heart touching very special project that demonstrates how blending diversity leads to a wonderful result of togetherness. Check it out – feel the joy.

Established in 2007, IMISA is dedicated to promoting contemporary mindfulness practices in southern Africa and became an eamba member in 2024.

IMISA’s tiered teaching programme has a strong focus on context and trauma sensitivity, enabling participants to share mindfulness practices within their communities or workplaces.

IMISA is committed to public education, research, and supporting mindfulness practitioners across diverse contexts in southern Africa.

We honor the team of IMISA and the nearly 300 colleagues sharing/ teaching mindfulness, mostly within the profession they already execute. Making mindfulness practices accessible to all who need and wish to is at the heart of IMISA’s efforts.
