Richard Edwards,  director of the Mindfulness Initiative invites us to take a look back at 2024.
The eamba Community is grateful for the benefits reaped from the Mindfulness Initiative’s work for Mindfulness Teachers and their local associations. Some examples:

innovation, climate and politics. It’s a brief tour of the vibrant events, impactful reports and strong networks that form MI’s springboard into 2025. Especially notice the Climate Youth Resilience. CYR seeks to unlock young people’s capacities, insights and leadership, with a focus on climate and the environment.  Explore the ideas and intentions of CYR and find resources including mindfulness practices, playlists, training programmes, and a map of the growing community.

And if you missed it last year, MI’s short film, Mindful Voices in Westminster  is worth a watch, for a politician’s perspective on mindfulness.

On the subject of the new MI Policy Forums, Richard says, “This is about really pushing that agenda forward. Rather than just being the thought-leader on it, we’re an organisation that’s prepared to roll our sleeves up and say ‘how are we going to make this happen?'” For details watch the podcast: Richard recently being interviewed by Ted Meissner of Mindfulness Voyage.
