Tatini Petra Schmidt The art of Inquiry in transmitting mindfulness practice

Saturday 24 September 9:00 – 11:00 CEST

INQUIRY: The art of Inquiry in transmitting mindfulness practice

sharing by and with Tatini Petra Schmidt (MBSR-MBCT Verband Deutschland).
Inquiry we use as an art in teaching mindfulness and implementing teaching points with curiosity and care into our courses.
The gift of inquiry lies in the unfolding force of moment-to-moment experience, leaving our stories behind and focusing with gentle awareness on the present moment. In MBI`s it iswell used after a mindfulness practice, when presenting a new topic and exploring other experiences in between the course meetings.

This unit is facilitated by Sherida Pengel (VMBN, Vereniging Mindfulness Based Trainers Nederland), EAMBA board member.

Eva Amundsen Trauma Sensitivity – focused on MBRP – mindfulness-based relapse prevention

Saturday 24 September, 11:00 – 13:00 CEST

Trauma Sensitivity – focused on MBRP – mindfulness-based relapse prevention

sharing by and with Eva Amundsen, {Norsk forening Mindfulness-Lærere MBSR/MBCT] I would like to talk about my experiences with trauma reactions in groups in general.
From my early experiences when it happened without warning in MBSR groups and how I learned to handle (or not handle this). The next step is how I  started to work more thoroughly with preparations in intake interviews when I delivered MBCT in a hospital medical health care setting. Ask specific questions about trauma, and sometimes give individual sessions before they start in the group. A short practice in the intake interview gives an idea of how they might react to practise in the group. The third level is the shorter digital group we have developed.

This unit is facilitated by Camilla Sköld (MBTA Mindfulness Based Teacher Association Sweden), EAMBA board member.

Stéphane Nau PEER REFLECTION / INTERVISION

Saturday 24 September, 14:00 – 16:00 CEST

PEER REFLECTION / INTERVISION

sharing by and with Stéphane Nau (AFEM-Association Française des Enseignants MBSR).
For AFEM he developed a process for intervision which he will share with us.In this unit the intention is to share a systematic intervision process.
The approach developed within AFEM observes three interconnected steps.Sharing means interacting on purpose of intervision (what does it mean, what for), experiencing the process (describing and living the experience),taking feedback on the experience into account (appreciative feedback).

This unit is facilitated by Eugenio Correnti (AFEM-Association Française des Enseignants MBSR and ADM), EAMBA board member.
